How I record sound on set
What brought me to
recording sound
I first got into recording sound at 14, when I began making music. Later I graduated with a 1st in Film Production at Birmingham City University. This experience turned my skills into a different passion- recording sound for film.
Over the years I have developed knowledge about microphone placement, movement, technical aspects, minimising noise, different sound equipment, requirements in different film formats and creative uses of sound. This has allowed me to deliver clean, high quality sound which follows the director's creative vision too.
Filming a variety of film formats has also made be knowledgable about working on different types of film sets.
